Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers have brought Greg Docherty to Ibrox from Hamilton Academical.
Rangers midfielder Jason Holt has told The Scottish Sun that he is looking forward to working with his new teammate Greg Docherty.
Docherty has joined from Scottish Premiership rivals Hamilton Academical in the January transfer window on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
According to The Daily Record, the Ibrox club had to pay Scottish Premiership rivals Hamilton a transfer fee of £650,000 in order to secure the services of the Scotland Under-21 international.
Rangers midfielder Holt, who has been on the books of the Gers since 2015 after leaving Heart of Midlothian, has spoke highly of Docherty.
The 24-year-old midfielder is looking forward to working with the 21-year-old and has outlined what he will bring to the team.
Holt told The Scottish Sun: “I’ve played against Greg a couple of times. I think he will be a great addition.
“The times we’ve played against Hamilton, he’s definitely been their standout player. I really look forward to working with him. He’s got quality and he’s a powerful player.
“He can drive the midfield and get on the ball. I’m really happy and looking forward to working with him.”
