Milan are ready to send Lucas Biglia to Fiorentina in January as part of an exchange deal for Milan Badelj, it’s reported.
According to La Nazione newspaper, the transfer would suit everyone involved.
Biglia has struggled to show any kind of form or fitness since completing his €17m plus €3m bonuses move from Lazio over the summer.
In a bid to rescue the situation, the Rossoneri are prepared to exchange the Argentina international with Badelj.
This would also suit the Viola, because Badelj’s contract with Fiorentina is due to expire in July 2018 and he’ll be able to agree terms with other clubs as a free agent from February.
Viola Coach Stefano Pioli already worked with Biglia at Lazio and believes he can be the ideal heir to Borja Valero in pulling the midfield strings.
