Serie B side Novara have officially fired Coach Eugenio Corini and are in negotiations with Domenico Di Carlo.
The 47-year-old had only been appointed in July 2017, after previous experiences at Crotone, Frosinone, Chievo and Palermo.
Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Ascoli proved the final straw and Corini was dismissed.
This season Novara have put together seven wins, six draws and 11 losses.
Former Sampdoria boss Di Carlo is the favourite to take over.
