Hellas Verona veteran striker Giampaolo Pazzini had been linked with Torino, but is now reportedly close to joining Levante.
The 33-year-old’s goals proved decisive to earn Verona’s promotion from Serie B last season, but he has been pushed to the sidelines by Coach Fabio Pecchia.
Pazzini was even left out of the squad for a training retreat, confirming he is transfer-listed.
Torino had been tipped as his destination, but Superdeportes now report Spanish club Levante have a deal instead.
They have an agreement to sign Pazzini on loan with option to buy, but the forward is taking 48 hours to consider his options.
