If Oumar Niasse doesn’t have a future at Everton under Sam Allardyce should Brighton renew their interest?
Sam Allardyce revealed after Everton’s 3-1 Premier League win against Swansea City that Oumar Niasse was simply left out of the matchday squad.
The striker wasn’t included in the 18-man squad for the game at Goodison Park and it looks as if Niasse has already fallen down the pecking order under Allardyce.
“I just changed it around because I’ve got that many players I’ve got to see I’ve got to see one after another when I can,” the Toffees manager told the Liverpool Echo.
Niasse has only played once since Allardyce took charge on November 30 despite previously impressing under caretaker David Unsworth, scoring six goals in nine appearances in all competitions.
Just like when Ronald Koeman was in charge, if the 27-year-old finds his opportunities now limited on Merseyside will that give Brighton and Hove Albion the perfect opportunity to reignite their interest in the forward?
